Why Megumi?
Megumi is more of an outgoing person than Keiichi, and she will say
what she thinks - this would seemingly preclude her from being
considered a "mousy girl". I must admit that I did have some issue
with that as far as including her here, but I simply like Megumi
enough not to include her. However, her interaction with her brother
is oftentimes much different from her interactions with others; she
typically appears much more reserved and less open about things around
other people. Of course, this can simply come down to the fact that
Megumi has known Keiichi for 20-odd years and family relations are
always different from other relations - he is her brother after all -
but most of the time she is depicted it is in relation to Keiichi. As
such, it it is hard to pinpoint her true nature around others. In
general, she appears to have strength of character as well as a
vulnerable side; the situation at hand determines which side of her
personality is more evident.
