Who is Milly?
Milly Thompson is a claims investigator for the Bernardelli Insurance Society in Trigun. She is partnered with Meryl Stryfe, who is the leader of the team; both of them were assigned to find Vash the Stampede and keep him under watch in order to prevent any further damage. Milly is quite tall and in general has a large appearance (which is emphasized by the large duster she usually wears). Despite appearances, she has a heart of gold and a rather high-pitched voice. Although she usually appears to be a bit dense and "not all there" she does occasionally exhibit unusual perceptive abilities (most of the time without realizing it). The youngest of a large family, she writes home often. She is a very friendly person who likes to help others in any way she can; she also seems to have a way with children. Milly is for the most part slow to anger, and extreme circumstances are usually needed to push her over the edge. There is one exception to that rule, however - Milly loves pudding, and if you get between her and her pudding you will quickly find yourself greeted by a large stungun!
It must also be noted that Milly doesn't know her limit when it comes to alcohol, and she has a tendency to do rather humorous things when drunk.
Series Appearances
Milly appears in the animated Trigun TV series as well as Yasuhiro Nightow's Trigun and Trigun Maximum manga series.
Special Abilities
Due to her size, Milly has a goodly amount of physical strength. She carries a large stungun under her coat (giving her the nickname "Stungun Milly"). However, she often appears to be rather slow and somewhat airheaded, but she does have an almost idiot savant quality about her. Milly doesn't really possess any other abilities that would make her stand out in comparison to the abilities demonstrated by other characters in the series.
