Why Milly?
I'm not entirely sure why I like Milly; she doesn't really fit the mold of what I generally find appealing about a character. For starters, she's huge in comparison to the typical female anime character (as broad a description as that is). I believe it was definitely her personality that drew me to her as a character, and her English voice (Lia Sargent) certainly helped in that regard. (I dislike her Japanese voice as I find it to be too high-pitched and grating.) Another quality that makes Milly stand out is that she is an older character than most female characters that are found in similar series, and I find that I can identify more readily with a character her age than one, for instance, still in high school. I can't really pin down what it is that I like about Milly exactly; I just simply find her interesting.
